Senior Offshore Geophysicists

We are seeking to recruit experienced offshore geophysicists capable of working alongside a team of dedicated geophysical engineers and hydrographic surveyors. As an offshore geophysicist you will be responsible for the quality and integrity of all shallow geophysical data. With your industry experience you will be able to integrate the data from the other departments to ensure a robust data set.

In addition to this QC role, you will be responsible for the provisional interpretation of the shallow geophysical data and will be able to communicate preliminary findings to both clients and the rest of the survey crew members. There will be an expectation to be able to mentor junior members of the department. As an experienced member of the geophysics department you will be called upon where required to be involved with the reporting phase at our offices in Great Yarmouth.

Gardline Limited acquire geophysical data for a broad range of project types, from renewable developments to oil and gas site surveys. These projects are located around the world and are carried out by Gardline’s fleet of survey vessels.

Candidates must have had commercial experience of marine geophysics as well as having a related geoscience degree. All candidates must be positive, confident and keen to further develop their reputation as a marine geophysicist. With greater experience there will be the opportunity to lead teams on complex projects.

It is crucial that the candidate has experience with industry standard software packages, has good commercial awareness, and is an excellent communicator at all levels.
