We are seeking to recruit offshore geophysicists capable of working alongside a team of dedicated geophysical engineers and hydrographic surveyors.
As an offshore geophysicist, you will be responsible for the Quality Control and provisional interpretation of the shallow geophysical data. In addition to this you will be responsible for liaising with clients and other crew members to ensure the aims of the project are met later into the project lifecycle.
As a member of the geophysics department, there will also be the opportunity to participate with the reporting phase at our offices in Great Yarmouth.
Gardline Limited acquire geophysical data for a broad range of project types, from renewable developments to oil and gas site surveys. These projects are located around the world and are carried out by Gardline’s fleet of survey vessels.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of marine geophysics and have a related geoscience degree. All candidates must be positive, confident and keen to develop a reputation as a team player in a seagoing role, assisting the other survey departments as required.
It is crucial that the candidate is computer literate, has commercial awareness, and is a good communicator at all levels. Full training will be given on the suite of software used.
