How you can make your mark!

The key objectives of the role are to perform all cone calibrations and a number of lab equipment calibrations for Gardline, you will also keep accurate records and produce certificates for all calibrations. 


Your responsibilities:

  • Calibrations of CPT cones and survey equipment.
  • Producing certificates and keeping accurate records of calibrations.
  • Inventory and control of cone and survey equipment movements.
  • Ordering, receiving and maintaining stock for calibrations.
  • Liaising with Technical department to plan equipment usage and requirements.
  • Allocating cones for projects based on project specifications.
  • Improving and helping develop the calibration process.
  • Assisting other departments as required

Your qualities:
You can make your mark as a Calibration Technician if you have:

  • Engineering or Science Qualification level 3 (Desirable)
  • Experience in Calibration or instrumentation work, Offshore environment and a soils testing environment.
  • Proficient in use of Excel

  • Where you will work: Hewett Park, Hewett Road, Gapton Hall Industrial Estate, Great Yarmouth NR31 0NN
  • Fulltime/Part time role: The position is a fulltime (37.5 hours a week).
